7 day beginner yoga challenge
What is it?
This is a beginner challenge to do yoga every day for 7 days and introduce you to the power yoga can have on your life. We will do yoga flows where we are moving quickly with our breath and restorative yoga where we are mostly stretching and meditating. These classes are designed to bring you in to your body and out of your mind. We will strengthen, increase circulation, stretch, get our heart rates up, and find some calm and relaxation. I hope that you feel the yoga high after each class :) This is designated time for you to get some YOU time that is so nourishing for your mind, body, and spirit.
Who is it for?
ANYONE, but it is specifically designed for those just starting out doing yoga. I will give you a lot of instruction and modifications. If you have done yoga before, this would still be a great challenge to get you back to your yoga practice.
I also added on an extra video for you to try out at the end - our WAKE, SHAKE, MEDITATE somatic movement series.
Equipment needed:
A yoga mat, water, and yourself. If you have a yoga block, grab that as well. It can help you get in to positions easier. Also, you will need a big pillow for the restorative classes.
Make sure to look at the class for the next day - they vary in time of day/length of class. Feel free to go out of order too. I can’t wait to see what you think!
